Dr Semen Vasilev

Dr. Semen Vasilev holds an MS in Medical Physics and a PhD in Condensed Matter Physics from Ural Federal University, Russia. His doctoral research focused on the piezoelectric properties of biomolecular crystals. He later became a Marie Curie Fellow at the University of Limerick, where he advanced the development of innovative inkjet-printed biosensors using lectins.

Currently, Dr. Vasilev’s research interests include applying machine learning to powder conveying systems, optimizing manufacturing processes and using the Internet of Things (IoT) in industrial applications.
