Dr Ehsan Pashai
Dr Ehsan Pashai is a Postdoctoral Researcher with the PMTC, working on PMTC's Pharmaceutical Plant Cleaning projects.
Ehsan holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering and has expertise in process modelling, material synthesis and characterization, electrochemical biosensors, and thermodynamics.
He is a postdoctoral researcher specialising in both the experimental and modelling aspects of Cleaning-in-Place (CIP) processes within the pharmaceutical industry.
At the PMTC, Bernal Institute, he contributes to projects aimed at enhancing pharmaceutical manufacturing efficiency, regulatory compliance, and product safety. He has collaborated with major pharmaceutical companies to conduct solvent screening for improving API removal, develop comprehensive inspection checklists, investigation protocols, and SOP frameworks to minimize FM incidents in lyophilised and pre-filled syringe (PFS) products. His research also focuses on improving the design and performance of CIP systems and integrating Process Analytical Technology (PAT) tools for real-time monitoring, cleaning verification, and process control to drive data-driven process optimisation.
